We are currently seeking a skilled Road Foreman / Production Manager to join our team and contribute to the excellence our clients have come to expect.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Road Foreman / Production Manager to oversee multiple painting/ wallcovering projects while ensuring efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate must have at least 10 years of painting / wallcovering experience and the ability to manage multiple job sites effectively. Strong organizational skills, paperwork management, and leadership are essential. This role may also involve estimating small jobs as needed.

During winter or slow seasons, the Road Foreman / Production Manager may need to return to hands-on painting/ wallcovering work to keep projects on track.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage multiple painting/ wallcovering projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Supervise and coordinate painting/wallcovering crews, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
• Maintain and manage all project-related paperwork, including work orders, schedules, and job tracking.
• Conduct site visits and communicate with clients to ensure satisfaction and address concerns.
• Assist in estimating small jobs when needed.
• Enforce safety regulations and company policies on job sites.
• Provide training and mentorship to painting/ wallcovering crews.
• Step in as a hands-on painter/ wallcovering when necessary, during slower periods.
• Attend once-a-month safety meetings.
• Identify potential issues and ensure timely decisions are made.
• Manage strong customer and employee relationships.
• Schedule, motivate, discipline, train, and evaluate employee performance.
• Manage manpower to meet schedules and deadlines.
• Deliver successful projects to clients—on schedule, on budget, and with the highest quality possible.
• Understand project plans, specifications, scopes, and contracts.
• Apply extensive background and industry knowledge to support job runners, estimators, and laborers, ensuring they have all necessary tools, materials, equipment, and information to complete the job.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 10 years of professional painting/ wallcovering experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple job sites and crews efficiently.
• Strong organizational and paperwork management skills.
• Experience in estimating small jobs is a plus.
• Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing work demands.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to perform hands-on work as needed during slow seasons.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
